We are The Nowhere Band! We play The Beatles, light rock, new rock, old rock, pop, oldies, some swing, some o this and some o that. Currently we have a playlist of 200+ songs which keeps on growin’. We have had 3 concerts in November, and we will be on the road again in December for three more shows on the 8th and 9th.
MEET THE BAND!
Luke – Luke is the drummer, harmonica player, and vocalist in The Nowhere Band. Once a member of the popular oldies cover band “BLT”, this 18 year old drummer and percussionist can keep quite a beat.
Corey - This sharply dressed vocalist adds a "feminine touch" to the band. She also has been known to pick up a tambourine or jingle bells and rock out. She has a sweet voice but she can rock and entertain just as much as the top leading performers.
Ben - Well, maybe nobody can entertain as much as Ben. Ben was the bassist for the popular band “BLT”. When the band dissipated in early 2007, Ben picked up the guitar, started practicing, and never stopped. This solo guitarist can really shred, and sing, and dance, and then shred some more. He also backs up on the bass too. He plays both the acoustic and electric guitar.
Fr. John - As our pianist, banjoist, accordionist, vocalist, guitarist, and bassist, this band leader knows music, and loves to entertain. Ever since his start in first grade playing the piano, Fr. John has been jammin’ on the keys. Later on he has added more and more instruments and he has never looked back. Now when Fr. John is playing one of his signature improv solos on the keyboard we keep a fire extinguisher near the keyboard because the keys have been known to spontaneously combust when he plays them. Fr. John is much appreciated, and we'd like to thank him for all his help and for sticking with us.
Karen- The youngest band member stars on the bass. Karen is also our band’s artist. Her older brothers Luke and Ben, and older sister Corey are looking forward to her to start singing, and doing jazz squares. With her addition to our band our 5 piece band makes us have the sound of a 10+ piece band.
